UK Sport can confirm that, following engagement with a number of potential partners, it has secured an alternative vehicle to enable public funding to continue to flow to the UK’s snowsport athletes and programmes for the Alpes 2030 cycle.

From the 1st to 14 th February 2027, the world’s best alpine skiers will come together in the Swiss Alps to battle for World Championship glory across the full range of alpine disciplines.

UK Sport has recently announced a record investment of more than £33 million into the UK’s Olympic and Paralympic winter sport athletes, supporting their preparations for Alpes 2030.
